I am a photographer based in Bristol, working at the intersection of documentary and fine art photography. My practice is rooted in curiosity about the everyday and how personal histories and social landscapes can be explored through the camera.
Documentary photography allows me to observe and engage with the world as it unfolds, while fine art photography gives me space to interpret, distill, and question what those observations mean. Together, these approaches form a dialogue between truth and perception, presence and memory.
Much of my work explores familial connections and the ways photography can be used as a tool of investigation—uncovering hidden narratives, questioning inherited stories, and tracing the ties between intimacy and distance. These projects often move between the personal and the universal, creating images that invite viewers to reflect on their own relationships and histories.
Ultimately, my work is an exploration of how photography can hold space for both documentary truth and artistic interpretation, offering not only a record of the world but also an invitation to reflect on its subtleties.
